Every book has the power to inspire, inform, or entertain—and my role is to ensure your words do exactly that. As a freelance book editor, ghostwriter, and formatter, I’m here to bring your manuscript to life, making it polished, engaging, and ready for readers.
Whether you’re refining a novel, writing a memoir, or crafting a non-fiction book, your work should draw readers in and keep them captivated. I help eliminate the distractions—typos, inconsistencies, and structural issues—so your story flows seamlessly from beginning to end.
Even the best writers benefit from a fresh perspective. It’s easy to miss details after reading through your own work so many times. By partnering with me, you can stay focused on your story while I handle the details that make your book shine.
Why a polished book matters:
• Enhances reader engagement and immersion
• Strengthens your reputation as an author
• Boosts credibility and professionalism in a crowded market
From editing and ghostwriting to formatting for print or digital publication, I’ll ensure your book is crafted to impress. Let’s work together to bring your vision to life and create a book that leaves a lasting impact.
For developmental editing, line editing, and writing, I specialize in romance, paranormal, and fantasy but also work on many other genres. For nonfiction, I work on anything relating to mental health, self-help, religion, spirituality, holistic lifestyle, memoirs, and arts/crafts.
For copy editing, proofreading, formatting, and manuscript evaluation, I'm a generalist and will take on any project. In the past, I've worked on a wide range of writing: fiction and nonfiction books, resumes, cover letters, weekly blog posts, articles, essays, etc., so I can quickly adapt to a variety of styles and subject matter.
If you aren't sure, that's something we can determine together by discussing the scope of your project, what your overall needs and goals are, your deadline, and how heavy a hand you would like on your work. I can also provide a free sample edit to show you the difference between proofreading, copy editing, and/or line editing.
The industry standard for editing is Microsoft Word. Word's track changes feature allows me to document every change I make and allows you to easily accept/reject them.
This is determined based on which service or combination of services you require and your total word count. You can find my rates on my “Services” page or contact me for a quote (Please include your word count and the service(s) you want.
Yes—this is standard in the freelance editing industry. Any project over $500 requires a 50% deposit up front before I begin any work, and the remainder is due once I complete the work. Payment plans will slightly reduce and spread out the amounts, which vary based on the total contract amount.
Absolutely! I know it can feel odd or even scary hiring a stranger over the internet, so I’m happy to schedule a Zoom meeting or phone call so you can verify who I am, ask questions, and discuss your needs. Click here to schedule.

I provide a free sample for every new client! I will proofread, edit, or write 1,000 words for free. This gives you the opportunity to see firsthand what I can do for you before committing to a contract. You are under no obligation to purchase my services after that.
Available for any project that costs over $500. I want you to get the service you need, not settle for less because you can't afford to pay all at once!
